Again, I've been absent since July (only popping in once or twice in that time)! We've had a crazy, crazy busy fall!

Our first does to kid (3 registered Nubians) should be due from February 9th-16th, if they're all pregnant... but they all missed their latest cycle, so I'm almost 99% sure they are. We're going to have our vet give them each an Ultrasound in early or mid November to confirm.

Our 2 Nubian herd sires are
  • CrownCreek Bright Blue Orion ( http://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=N001974866 ) He is so gross already. Picking up his pee-soaked front hooves to trim is not fun! I dread when December or January rolls around and he'll have a thick winter coat = even smellier. :sickThis picture was taken about a month ago, I need to get a recent picture of Sir Stink-A-Lot, I mean, Orion.

  • CrownCreek Israel of Faith ( he is registered, but only just recently, so ADGA.Genetics doesn't have him up yet - for now I'll just use his twin sister's pedigree: http://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=N001954722 ) He is standing weirdly because at the time this picture was taken, his feet desperately needed a trim, he doesn't actually toe out in the front.

Matilda (top) and Semi Sweet (bottom) were both bred to Orion.

This doe (squeeee!) we bought in early August. I love her dam (well and her sire) and I can't WAIT to see her lil' FF udder. She should be bred to Israel. :weee

Nice goats, you can see the Saada in a few of them! Yours goats all are beautiful and obviously very well cared for!
We showed against Foxwood last year :) Very nice goats!

Are you going to start showing?

Thank you! That is so cool that you showed against Foxwood! I'm so excited about Demelza (Seraphina). :weee We weren't looking to add another doe, but I *just so happened* to see that someone in MS was selling her whole herd, and Demelza caught my eye right away.

And YES! I really, really want to start showing my Nubians, but I'm not sure if that'll happen. I definitely want to have some of them LA'd (although not sure I want to know the results, LOL!) and/or participate in DHIR at some point.

My dream is to someday get a buckling from Goddard Farm. :love:love

Another breeding is underway! Saffron (registered 88% Kiko) to "Joe", a 6-7 month old registered purebred Kiko buck that we are borrowing from the same breeder we got Saffron and Mazil from. The resulting kids will be purebred Kikos.

And this little cutie is a doeling we just got from the same breeder mentioned above! She's also a purebred registered Kiko. :)
