Hey there, I have not been on here in a very long time. But you come to mind so often. How are you? how are your critters? What is new with you? I have been in the world of cheese making with my goat milk. It has been an adventure, but I have mastered a large number of cheeses and goat butter. The butter is the best I have ever had, amazing... anyway, just thought I would see how you are.

We need to connect for sure. Would love to see your place. How is your new place working for you? Cooler weather will be nice, how are your critters? how many do you have now? We are in the middle of redoing our rabbitry. you are welcome anytime, I always have milk and cheese on hand.

I have 2 fields fenced. The back and biggest has the worst fence. I’m gonna try to get some of it fenced this winter. Horrible brush, trees, vines in the fence rows. I had the front field bulldozed. Back field fenceline has a drop off on one side, a deep gully on the backside, so I’ll be doing a lot of hand work.

That will be AFTER I tear down a string of crappy chicken coops, an outbuilding, the remains of a round pen and a chute all grown up in blackberry vines that are over my head. Then I can move two 40’ shipping containers and get them blocked up. Busy winter. I’d love to come visit in a week or two!
Hey! Sorry about the unexpected message, but what would you feed your show lambs? Also, how soon or how old would you begin working with lambs before show? I have a lamb born in March off of a Katahdin/Dorper ewe and Barbados Blackbelly ram. Thanks!

Totally fine to message me, and feel free to PM me about show lamb questions if I miss any. I fed Showrite and really liked it. A lot of feeding depends on where you are and what is available close to you. I have friends who fed Purina and really liked it. (part 1)
Ellie, 18+ yrs, has been an amazing guard llama against the N.E. coyotes. She has lost wt. this year. Today walked into the barnyard, cannot get back up. What to do?

Is it best to help her stand up when she tries? To get her into sheltered barn? To hand feed & water?
