Ok so probably stupid question but the buck is alpine and 65-70 pounds and the Nubian is 110 ish pounds and will be 2 in February. She is obviously in heat and I was hoping my little buck could breed her. I don't have any buck services around here so would like him to do the job.
She is actively pursuing him. She is in love. He attempts but is just a bit smaller than she and she walks at the time so he has to try to keep up. Then she starts wooing him again so if she keeps loving on him does that mean he hasn't done his part?
He was peeing on himself and pretty stinky about a month ago but now he isn't so stinky. It was all I could do to keep him and the lamancha (same age doe) apart. He seems interested but she has to keep getting him interested.
Does it sound like it will work out this time? Does the doe back off if bred or does she continue to show keen interest the whole 36 ish hours or so of the heat cycle.
