How much hay?

If I bought a six month old steer and raised it for 14 months to butcher, how much hay would I have to feed it if I only fed it hay and don't have good pasture?

How many pounds of hay would it consume in 14 months under those conditions?

And what type of hay are you going to be feeding the calf? Also, how much does the calf weigh at the start of the feeding session? (weanling weight differs by breed)
