So, we are getting two Zebu. Both are under 30 inches tall so they're little buggers. One is a year and a half old bull, the other is a 4-year-old heifer.
The people who had them fell on hard times and so they're coming to us in rough shape.

We feed our goats Alfalfa pellets, sunflower seeds, cracked corn and crimped oats along with as much second cut hay as they could ever want.

Is there anything special I should be feeding these cows?

Don’t know much about cattle but welcome back! It’s been a while! :welcome :frow

Do you still have your goats and dogs?
Yeah, my last posting on here had me really put off on coming back after that one person was so rude.
It's been a while so I thought i'd try again.

We still have our dogs, our sheep and we still have goats just not all the old goats. We have a new herd now. Everyone tested positive for CAE and we had a choice, either keep running into udder issues or replace them with CAE free goats from quality lines. Which we ended up doing.
Hardest day, EVER.

But, now we're getting two Zebu, going to add them to the herd also :)

Thanks for the welcome back, that was actually pretty cool that you remembered me.:hugs
