Yeah, I was at the club meeting -- flipped over and until 7. Very nice. But my "free" night breeze AC has the house at 66 that's almost my winter temps. Brrrrrr -- dressed fast! Hot coffee please. They say 80* today, so it'll be fine.

Only 2 more days of work this week. I'm pushing it There have been some crazy resets. When those shelves are overstocked it's a job to do.

There's the SSA officials screaming our checks are in jeopardy of being late due to all the various DOGE cuts. All I can say is don't mess with old folks $$$. Talk about an uproar of attacks -- they'll beat you to smithereens with their canes!!

@Weldman , you don't normally get all this rain do you? Seems like I was under the impression that is was more dry there than wet? We are supposed to get some rain/showers/t-storms here in the next couple days... we could use it..
Maybe time to cut back or quit????

constantly interrupted sleep yet constantly sleeping, aching joints, zero motivation - even for things I used to have passion for, weight gain (sleeping all the time doesn't use many calories)...
Someone recently suggested I look into HRT.
So this morning's 3AM coffee musings will be a bit of digging into OTC HRT. (My Dr phobia makes Rx versions out of the question).

The coffee is hot, the wifi is on, feel free to help yourself.

For many, melatonin helps you sleep thru...better sleep at a stretch. The interruptions are robbing your body rest, so you feel awful. Then, ibuprofen for the aches & inflammation. If you're having menopausal issues, hot flashes....soy may help with estrogen. The estrogen decline is a real issue for women.

Hot tea this morning. I'll get out to check on goats -- did she kid? -- and chicken, is she alive? Then get ready for work. Rain most of tomorrow, they are saying. Hmmmm

Got 1 1/4” of rain last night, that’s 4 1/4” since Sunday. Foggy white out, wet and muddy.

Up about 6:30, nice. Puttered, did laundry, etc. then went outside about 8 or so. Dug out dirt under the straw in the main coop, spread it around but not on plants, though I am fairly certain it's not "hot". Pruned, treated fire ant nests, weeded a little, watered a little, and then mowed.

Coffee is all gone, I drank it all...

We need rain, @Baymule , send some our way!

@Alaskan that's winter here! but, you enjoy it! It's 65 here now, today's low. We will be close to 80 later.


Rains piddling off/on all day. Only .21 predicted over 24 so just enough to annoy you. It's fine. No big plans anyway. Having hot tea this morning. then out to check animals. Broody is 1 week from hatch...I'll be at Gilmanor swap that day.

Coffee is ready. It’s a fog white out again this morning. It’s 66 with high of 86 and sunny today. My truck is ready! I’m going to go get it today! That makes me very happy.

We've had a few days the last couple weeks in the high 70s sometimes touching 80. Oh man I feel for you all who are now in the 80s. Not liking that heat. Thank goodness we're back into lower temps. 48-57 today . I know our hot days are comng, just not looking forward to them. Maybe if heat didn't also mean rattlers out I'd like it a little more.
