Coffee anyone ?

Better night, though drinking a lot of water to cool down didn't help me sleep through the night.

Coffee brewed, eggs cooked. I'm making "deviled" eggs for tomorrow's gathering after church.

Now I'm going to check on my flocks before heading to the farmers' market.

Coffee is ready. Left yesterday morning at 4:30 AM got back at 4 PM. 13 lambs to auction. There were over 600 sheep and goats, I’ve never seen that many. Auction usually takes 2 hours or less and it took 3 hours to run them all through, as fast as they could. I was exhausted, but was totally out of feed and needed dog food, so dropped trailer, got in car and went to Atwoods in Lufkin. Got 2 bags of all stock and 3 50 pounds of dog food. I was done.
Oh and my truck is still leaking oil. Droplets all over the stock trailer. Aaaaaannnndddd the AC blew hot. Windows down to let fresh air in because of the fumes from the oil, and with no AC, I had to have air, radio on classic rock n roll, hair blowing, I hauled A$$ for home.

Just ate breakfast. A bowl of shredded wheat & goat milk yeah, almost lunch time. Steady winds 15-18 all day yesterday. Couldn't hold on to anything. Calm now, so hope to get outside to work some.

Up half the night worrying about incubator temps

Today started with a thundershower. A little muggy right now. Took some flock pics and posted a fleece report on We Hava Racka. Got some shedding going on. Twister’s shearing is still several days away but we’re having cool weather so he’s fine. I watch him. Vala has tunneled under the doghouse. I’m trying to get Moses brushed out. He’s an all weather dog and has some rain mats. Ewe in the hog trap pickin’ out dough, Granny does your dog bite, no child no.

Coffee is ready. Got to go get feed today.

Up at 5...hovering over incubator full of eggs. Worry wart! Hope things go well but, I have concerns. need more "control". Better yet, 2 more broody hens.

Back to work -- gonna be a long, nervous day.

Programming upgrades can make it so hard to cope....last one made on my job portal still has me cussing!

Work today turned out to be short time there, big time pd . Store had already completed the resets!! I only had to audit & submit pics -- get full pay! And get home to find incubator holding steady temps -- whatever I did there turned out great. Not touching it now.... Just on hold.

Most eggs I candled are either close to where they should be OR fully hard boiled Sat I will know. Hopeful, so prepping chick corral

Just got back in from afternoon feeding, Lucy (NDG female) is looking about ready to pop cannot wait for the babies. Hopefully it goes better than last year

At work, evaluation software still not responding. Accreditation rules say all evaluations need to be submitted by the 10th. And the faculty can do them later, they have so much free time after seeing 30 patients daily in clinic, and doing inpatient rounds, and notes.

I need to retire. I won't have money but I might keep my sanity.
