No sign of the cat since Wednesday. Both us and the neighbors across the road have been shooting, running loud equipment and taking frequent walks with weapons and dogs. So far so good. Hopefully it has moved on and will not be back. My family has been praying every night for God to "shut the mouth of the lion" and so far He has.
Stay Safe! :hugs

I wouldn't post pix anyway of anything since someone womewhere would probaby take offence.

30years ago a woman jogging in the San Francisco area was killed and eten by a cougar. The woman left a husband, and 3 and 5 year old children. The cougar was hunted down and killed. The cougar had kittens.

A collection was announced for the orphans. $30,000.00 was collected FOR THE COUGAR KITTENS!

What the general public doesn't understand is once a wild animal loses its fear of humans, and attacks/eats a human, they will hunt humans. Everyone is at risk. Think about the man-eating tigers in India that are hunted down, man-eating lions in Africa. Same concept.

Sadly the animal rights people have convinced everyone that big cats and bears "are more afraid of you than you are of them". Not true. Just have to hear about the dummies that try to pet the wild bison in Yellowstone or feed the bears. People are really stupid. For a large carnivore who is hungry people are just as edible as a deer and a lot easier to bring down! LOL In Alaska humans have always been on the Polar bear diet plan.

It is amazing at what is out and about. We live for now in North Central Oh and I have seen a black cat twice. It has been about 12 yrs ago but it was clear as day. Asked my neighbor about it and he has seen them also. Another neighbor chased one off her porch with a broom she maybe in the to old to care age group (80+). We were told for yrs we don't have black bears this year they came out and said we have a population of at least 100. Last year it was 0. We also have mt lions. I have seen clear trail cam pics of them in the Dover area. It is amazing to me. Yep they travel threw so keep an eye out in a few weeks hopefully you see it before it kills some sheep. Barking dogs are the number 1 deterrent for a lot of things.

California, granola country ( what ain’t fruits and nuts is flakes) super populated, especially in LA County. My son is a professional hunting guide on the largest Mexican land grant rancho, Tejon, right smack dab in the middle of LA/Kern Co.
people would faint dead away if they knew what was all around them!

He’s even got video of a wolf that traveled down from Oregon.
We can build all we want but they prevail 😍
