The economy is fragile. Buying animals -- beyond immediate butchering -- is discretionary. Now a lamb is a splurge buy. 🤣 Thanks, Trump!

Since there's only a handful of lambs and they still haven't sold, neither have the 2 adult ewes, I'm not going to give WallaWalla-BingBang any ewes this coming breeding season.

Plutonium will get spot & carrier ewes. Plus the 5 mutt ewes.
Skedaddle, Balsa, Plesiosaur, Rhabdodon, Cobalt, Gallium, Holly, Triceratops, Zirconium, Chromium, Lithium, mutts; Trilobite, Neon, Erketu, Tatiana & Seadra.

Tatiana lost her lambs, what is she, 9yrs now? Probably try once more for a ewe lamb, then keep her far from the rams.

Seadra had a ram this year. She has two white lambs; Trilobite & Neon. So, may not put Seadra with a ram at all any more.

Trilobite had a white ram, 3rd gen back to BD. Straight, wide set front legs. I think I'll keep him to breed to select ewes and see what I get. I feel like swapping to my own flock standards and building my own mini fiber flock these days. Eat whatever doesn't sell and not give a darn.

Making it 14 to 30 lambs.
Once the spot/carrier first timers lamb, I'll decide who to keep and who to sell.

As for name theme, I'm thinking colors.

Lost a ewe. Can't tell from exactly what. Found at the bottom of a steep hill where they chill from the sun. Upside down and head perfectly stuck between rocks...

One ewe needed deworming. Doing better today.

0295 is in the barn, banded, dewormed, final cdt, waiting on buyer.

Been thinking again of selling out. Need to catch them all and decide if just several to list or all.

Moved them all, besides the youngest lamb n mom, to the backyard to mow. Will try to watch them to decide while they're in there vs catching, as that'll be a messy day...
