Coffee anyone ?

Just waking up. Need to get some tea and do a few chores. Appointments in town today, hour in, several there and an hour home. 102° today, but I think it's our last triple digit day, yay!

I hate diabetes! Dominic's DexCom crapped out unexpectedly around midnight. The 1hr without data alarm woke us up. I had to talk Alijah thru what to do regarding Mobi pump. It will continue to give basal without sensor which is okay during daytime. At night his BG tends to drop low right at ... 1AM. Thankfully, his blood sugar didn't drop below 100 before alarm woke us. But we had to wake him up for finger pokes and applying a new sensor. Then waited 30min for it to warm up and finger poking again to see if it's accurate.
Currently sitting in apt waiting for caffeine to kick in enough to drive safely. New boss is awesome. Texted him and he said no problem.

How is Dominic today? Hope you got some sleep.

Having coffee. Enjoying a cool breeze thru windows. BUT -- won't last as they say a hot 85 later. I'll close windows in an hr or so, capturing the cool. Haven't used AC in almost 10 days and I'd love to keep that going.

I generally go from AC to heat.

Coffee is ready! Girls are still sleeping, but they will be up soon. I rolled them out early yesterday to go get feed. They can sleep this morning.

No coffee drinkers here in the office today, so I skipped making a fresh pot, and :shudder: warmed up a cup from yesterday. Taste is coming back, yes!

The only way I could drink coffee would be if I couldn't taste it...lol

Good morning all. Having tea, then doing a few chores. Waiting for a friend to message and let me know when she's ready to visit. She just lost her toes due to a diabetes complication. Her attitude and outlook have been amazing. Praying for her to ask God to come into her life.
