Today at the Gilmanor Poultry Swap I had a great time visiting with @canesisters @farmerjan @Mini Horses and our newest member @Iron Cauldron Gardens !
I didn't bring home any live chickens, but a couple kitchen towels with an interesting design...
My Debbie kitty missed me...I was gone over 24 hours, the horror!
Of course after I got home I checked the chickens, everyone looked fine. I believe they're starting to lay again, there were 2 eggs from the coop with the Dominiques & Esther (Sussex).

Yay eggs! More of my littles are starting to lay now.

The GB pullets aren't laying yet, but should be soon. They were hatched in June. The Sussex pullets have a ways to go, think they're 10 weeks old.Love the pictures! Looks like you all had a fun time!

My girls were hatched the end of April. I still have quite a few that look to be weeks from laying.

The OEGB pullets...they keep "checking out" the nest boxes.
Thinking to themselves, I'll be so glad when I'm no longer a teenager... silly girls don't know how good they have it right now.
