I put the visitors on the super bag program. Smallest amount I can get in the super bag is 500 pounds. I got 505 pounds. $85.85 comes out to .17 cents a pound. I’m gonna try to synchronize our “bags” and get them on one trip.
Taking a break. I had to clean out an area from alfalfa leftovers and de-junk to make room. I have 2 barrels, one still had oil residue in it, must clean that out! The other barrel was ready to go, as was the metal trash can @Margali brought with her. Her feed is in a different building because there’s no room in the portable building where my feed is.
I backed truck up, arranged 5 gallon buckets and got my metal scoop.
I started filling buckets.
Five buckets in the barrel.
12 buckets in the barrel. It’s full.
I filled her trash can and I had one empty so I went and got it.
Once I got everything cleaned out and was ready to start, it only took 30 minutes to empty the super bag. I’ll get the other barrel clean and have it ready for next time.
