I find for cakes and fancy baked goods measuring is very important. But I have found that for bread it doesn't matter that much. Without carefully following the recipe, you will probably still get bread... just maybe not the kind of bread you were aiming for.
Very good looking! I made bread yesterday.... didn't work the way I wanted it to... didn't rise as much as it should have... so I thought I would make more today... I put the yeast in the warm water... and a bit later looked at it and was all "huh, that ain't right". I asked kid to come...
I have had a small hernia... but mine was at the bellybutton.
Surgery was fine and fast. I was told to not lift anything over some stupid small amount (was it 5 pounds??)... no idea what... but, it wasn't possible for me to do what they asked. I tried to be very careful when lifting...
Agreed. Now a days, if you can find an employee that actually shows up reliably, on time, and not stoned, it is almost rare enough to be seen as a miracle.
I had a Saanen that bagged up without even being pregnant. I didn't milk her then.
After she actually kidded, that girl produced over a gallon a day for over 3 years I think it was.
That looks like Jacob sheep to me at least with the horns, just Jacob sheep are usually spotted.
I have a friend that raises Jacob sheep up on Canada (middle of the country, so cold), and they are good well behaved sheep for her. She has bred hers so that they have very fine wool...
For those of you comparing you time of sunset to mine... I am in a "make believe " time zone. Originally Alaska was 3 or 4 time zones, and that was annoying... so we all decided to just be one hour after California. Make it easier for everyone. So... noon is not ever the middle of my day...
