Just got the pregnancy/CAE results back on my girls!

I definitely will and I'm sure I'll have questions along the way. But I think we're doing well so far. I was so happy that I won't have to drive them 2 hours one way to the breeder agian. It was a nice drive, but I had to drop them off 3 times (one time was at 7:30 a.m. on a Saturday I...

Just got the pregnancy/CAE results back on my girls!

My girls were bred for the first time beginning of January and I wasn't entirely sure they had settled. I waited the 30 days and drew their blood and sent it off anyways because I wanted them tested for CAE regardless if pregnant or not. So I sent results in and they recieved them Thursday...

    Rabbit Ringer

I use the hopper popper and noticed more times than not I still ended up using the broomstick. I use the broomstick now but still hanging them with the hanger that comes with the hopper popper.

    storing hay?

No we have no barn, we're in the middle of a town on 1/2 an acre. I have a shed that I cleaned out where I keep my rabbits, feeds (in rodent proof bins), and now hay. The box is sitting up on a pallet as well. I forgot to mention that.

    storing hay?

I have 6 (well now 5 and a 1/2) bales of hay and I plan on having a 6 bale supply of hay at all times. I only have 2 nigerian dwarf does. My husband tore down our rabbit racks outside, so we can move them inside, and build a square wooden box to contain the hay. At first I thought this was an...

    Doelings turning into little buttheads

Well I clean my dog's poop up immediately so I feel it's fine. They have plenty of room and don't eat next to where my dogs go to the bathroom, and seeing as my goats don't particularly care for grazing anyways. I think they have all come to an understanding whenever they see the dogs coming...

My hubby doesn't understand my excitement

My girls have always been very anemic and thin since we got them even though they eat very well. I was upset because it seems no matter what natural remedies I tried nothing helped. I got injectable iron and b complex and tried that with no change and finally my ivermectin arrived! They just...

    Need dosing help

I can't find a solid answer on this but I want help before I go poking, prodding and overall giving my girls any type of chemicals. I dewormed my girls with liquid safeguard for 3 days when I first got them (a month ago). The vet said they appeared healthy and they did mention their...

    Doelings turning into little buttheads

As stated I can not I have one yard and one entrance to the yard they all have to share. I do not expect them to be trained like dogs but what can I do to teach them that is unacceptable? Spray them with water, yell no, clap my hands? I am not expecting to teach my goats to go into a down stay...

    Doelings turning into little buttheads

I would like to add my dogs are never allowed unattended around the goats, and they have extensive obedience training, I put my Shepherd in a down stay from across the yard the second he chased off the other goat. I feel the goats were being buttheads to my schnauzer because she is 12 lbs and...

    Doelings turning into little buttheads

Have had my girls 3 weeks now and all seems to be fine and well. Than tonight I let my Shepherd out and my mini schnauzer and at first the girls were being good they were sniffing my schnauzer gently than the one out of the blue head butted my schnauzer than the other girl head butted her and...
