I have had dogs for most of my life and have lived long enough to have lost many. Losing Sassy is proving to be one of the hardest to get through. She follows me everywhere that I go and it is like she wants as many pets as she can get. She still plays with Lance but even that is slowing down.

The pain meds are doing the job. She is still playing tug with Lance and isn't showing any discomfort so we will keep going this way. If she stops play9ng we will rethink things.
