I bought my Mini Silkys in the fall of 2014. My female was pregnant and was due to give birth around 30-45 days after, I was told. About a month later I found her in labor. She had a small little girl but she died around 15 minutes after birth. I went back out to check on her 30 minutes later and found that she had given birth to a buck that was swollen and did not have hair or eye slits. The next Spring I was surprised by a new baby girl when I let the goats out for the day. I had no idea it was expected. In 2016, I had a first time mother give birth to a weak doeling that did not live only to give birth to a healthy girl the following year. I also have numerous chickens, ducks, a GSD, and 10 cats. I am looking to add two White Chinese Geese and may be rabbits. I used to have Chinese geese and they were great. I also had 3 rabbits that were great escape artists.
