Last night MD between here and the PA border and to the west flooded bad. Personally, our place is still high and dry. I'm actually really grateful. We still have Thursday and Friday with good chances of rain. Critters, housing, and family are doing okay. Back in TN we loved to flood (but not the house, thank goodness).

Me too. No forbidden chocolate milk of that type for us for now. The only thing higher than us is a small bite of a cornfield behind us. If it rains heavily as soon as we leave our hill we drive into water standing on roads, but our property "has good land and you can't change that" a contractor told us. Kind of weird being handed a break having to due with our house. Usually it just tries to thump us. *knock on wood*

The fog this morning after dropping son 1 at the bus stop (the "cornfield" is still full of winter wheat apparently, my bad). The back corner of our property is up there where the road turns off of the one I'm on. And yes, it is still raining...since Monday.
