It is hard for me to fathom that the temps in Montana swing so much... 50's to 90's back to snow and back to the 90's. Those are crazy weather swings. God bless you for living with them.

How are the kids doing with this impending move/separation???? How about you???? It will be okay for a few days until it sinks in for them... and for your husband having to be the "everything person".... I cannot say how much credit I give you for making this move... granted, temporarily, so he...

I think that there are so many of the "urgent care" places that the dr's are actually losing some patients... but this clinic I am considered a "patient" I guess... and this person is a "new one" since the last one I saw over 3 yrs ago has left...
I wanted to get in at the dr office right down...
So sorry for you getting sick... and sounds like it is pretty serious stuff...
TAKE it easy and get over this. "Summer colds" and such like the pneumonia you have, are harder to get over I think than winter stuff...

Did the lighter yellow chicks turn out to be the males or the females???
But then, the silver duckwing pattern has "chipmunk pattern chicks" but they are a more silver color instead...
Large commercial dairy farms have lowered the psi on the milking vacuum to 12.5 to 13 from the previous 14-15 that they used to be set at. And the pulsation... on/ off is ESSENTIAL for proper milking. A milking machine actually works opposite of milking by hand.. when you hand milk, you "trap...
Friday morning... got down to 69 overnight, but temps have quickly jumped back up... 91 when the sun hit the temp thing outside.. but dropped back to 86 once it was shaded by the tree leaves. Supposed to be in the mid 90's again... and it is humid... already back up to 89 in the shade...
Went...
I am glad that you got her some chicks... and good that you got bantams since you did not want standards..
The "chipmunk chicks" are the typical for a black breasted red color pattern... they will be something like black breasted red old english or american games or light or dark brown leghorn...
We have several sq bale hay people(clients); the ones that always call ahead, always pay and often help to unload if they are home... and DS takes them a few cuts of beef from the freezer at Christmas....little things like that...
10 pm. The rain/storms went around us again... got about 10 drops, skirted to the east and north of us... Just stayed out of reach. I wound up soaking the plants this evening... then we just got a crack of lightning that was so loud I jumped... It was the loudest I can ever remember.... really...
