When ice crystals start growing on any facial hair you have you know it’s cold out here. Usually happens around -40°F and colder.

That’s the point, they don’t want to haul it to the dump. Tip for burying a shipping container, flip it upside down. The floor of the hole is “bedrock” for a lack of a better term “solid” and gravity is pushing down. In the floor of a shipping container there is a brace about every foot made to...

Yep, that's what the customer wants. Too cheap to have it hauled to the landfill.

For us winter is right around the corner, got 30 days to get what I can done and prepare to hunker down for it. It might come roaring in or it might tease us. Highs in mid 90's today then we start the plunge of 80's and by September the 70's or lower.

Brings back childhood memories that at one time we had a garden, that didn't last but maybe 2 years. Another year we had chickens and somewhere along those lines a few ducks, that only lasted about just as long. Ended up with a pig one time and that was the end of that. Nothing really stuck...

Please for the love of God, if your vehicle breaks down, remember or take note of the address you left your vehicle at. I drove 60 extra miles trying to find this person’s vehicle with him in the passenger seat clueless, this about how it went.

Nope, though might cut them off amongst other modifications. Was a 1400 mile round trip (18 hr)that ended yesterday to get that service bed, instead of coming straight home I stopped in town and turned wrenches for 8 hours. Now I get to drive another 6 hours to wrench some more and need to put...

Yesterday was supposed to be a "non day" with rain and temperatures down in the 60's. Yeah that didn't happen. Got another client done in the rain, nice to just go do something at someones place, them not be there and get work done. Highs in the low 60's and rain again today. Yeah that's a truck...

Got up to 110°F yesterday, today's highs are only 63°F along with tomorrows. Flies are bad this year due to all the rain in June and more rain for the next two days. Even came with biting flies and biting gnats.

Oh yeah, as in quarter of a mile away and it’s actually two ranchers, two fences that need to be put right. Yes I will be putting new fence up and if they tie into it I will be sending them a bill per Montana laws.

Cause we are not from Montana and they don't like change. Fence has always been there for over half a century or longer, and 35 years ago a rancher sold a few squares that got broken up from 640 acres to 20 acre parcels, but no one ever contested the fence line till now. Just like the crazy lady...

Today is the day I pis s a rancher off, we have owned this one property for about 3 or 4 years that has the well on it and is the one that...

If I don't have grenades tossed at me, or being shot at I get antsy. There is a reason I have lived more in a year than most do in three. It's struggle even for the wife to keep up, only words of comfort I can give is "I got this".
