Is this a Hair sheep? I am looking for one that I don't have to shear. We are wanting a sheep to go with our little petting zoo. We do a petting zoo about twice a year for the kids at our church. Thanks, Kim
I have got to share this with someone, I am on BYC every day and I have my first Serama chick. It is from one of our eggs, it is so tiny. The only one so far. :weee
I do have a question, can I leave it in the incubator until the morning?
I have 4 incubators running, am I crazy or...
The bull calf has already turned more white and the little heifer has gotten more chocolate brown. You never know, they change alot.
People ask if they are yak, or buffalo and we have had people call them "the hippy cows"
Thanks for the compliments, they are a fun breed to have.
Brahma's. They are both around 15 months old. Moose almost died from Joint ill and the people before us, saved him. I do believe all of the meds stunted his growth, but he's just a big pet. Both love to be petted and have their necks rubbed. They also like to give kisses.
We have 2 approx. three year old Hereford cows, 1 has a calf born 6/11 and the other is bred back.
If just want just the cow/calf pair...$1500
Bred back Cow.....$1000
All three for $2000
We are located in Chickamauga GA

Hello from Georgia on a beautiful cool morning....
I am having calving issues, we have already lost 3 calves. Two of them looked cleaned up and developed. The other one was found in the pond. I know these were the first calves for these cows, could that be the problem? Or do I have something...
Where do you live? My husband said he wasn't sure the dog crates would hold them if they decided they wanted out. Do you have a pick-up? You could always put a camper cover on it and that would be a good way to haul them. Just let me know.
It would have to be the great dane size in the wire kind. The plastic crates I don't think would work. I haven't seen any large enough of those. Where are you located?
I have for sale a young breeding pair of Zebu's. They are double registered, foundation pure. The bull was born on 7/16/10 and the heifer was born on 8/5/10. Will stay small. Thanks for looking!!!
