I used my American Fuzzy Lop's wool that I pulled out while grooming her. It worked great and the mom didn't have a problem with it.

You should be able to fit two (definitely not three) Californians inside that traveling cage. By 8 months old, these rabbits will be full grown. A small cage is good, it makes them feel more secure inside of the moving vehicle.

When I had an oops breeding, I read that the Lavender plant can be fed to your rabbit to make them pass the litter. It expels everything within the rabbit, dead or alive.
