Looking for American Chinchilla rabbits

Looking for pedigreed breeding stock of American Chinchilla rabbits
I am located in the Savannah Ga area and will drive up to 3hrs to pick them up.

Thanks BunnyRabbit, that was one of the first places I started looking when I
started hunting for these rare breed rabbits. So far the closest place I have found with pedigreed AChins
is about5-6hrs away in north western North Carolina. I did find a breeder in South Carolina(Charleston)
but she is not breeding at this time and has not answered my emails so the "quest" continues...trying not to have to drive so far
with the way gas prices are

I know how that is. I was blessed and only had to drive 3 hours (6 total) for my first group of rabbits.
It can be tough, lucky California has a wide variety of breeds and breeders.
Have you gone to a rabbit show near you? Out here, that's one of the best places to go if your looking for a breed that's rare where you live.

Beach, are you still looking for American Chinchillas? My uncle raises them in Alpharetta outside Atlanta. Not sure if that's close enough for you.

thanks Troell I just got some from a breeder up in North Carolina who was willing to meet me half way so only a 3 hr drive for both of us. Anytime I dont have to drive near Atlanta is a good thing...it pretty much terrifies me to drive thru Atlanta on the interstate...lol. Still have to wait a few more months before i can breed them so still using my mutts for meat!
