It looks like I've never made a thread for them.

We'll start with feed troubles....

I used to pay 120 or so.
Soon, that jumped, and is now unacceptablly high!

I started searching for a new feed. During, I discovered my food wasn't fishmeal first, ugh. But eventually found a food that was, and at an acceptable price. Ordered 4 bags for the year.

Start of the Covid price jumps...

What I found and ordered. Seems a bit better, but we'll see. Idk if it has any fancy things, I just hope they like it.

Another recent problem. 4,500gal leaking in 9 days. Waiting for a dry day to peel the liner back and search for the hole...

More problems? Yup.
One pump broke early winter. Other is had to shut off because of the extra cold. Haven't tried to restart it yet to check for breaks. They're $600-700 pumps. I need to buy a different brand, but that requires changing pipe diameters.

20×30×4-4.5ft. 18,000-20,000 gallons.

Oh, gawd no!!
I found a near catastrophe!
2/3 of the water, gone! Some of it under the liner!! 2/3 of 18,000 is 12,000 gallons! 😱
The fish will enjoy that huge water change.
I am assuming that the bog has sprung a leak, thanks to rats or similar chewy creatures. 🤬
Pond is up on high ground, so I'm now waiting to see if the ground can finish absorbing it without the walls caving. I am refilling it at the same time, because of the threat of walls caving from lack of pressure! 🤞
It's too huge of a mess to search the bog during summer, so the pump to it was shut off instead. Once the plants die back for winter, everything will come out and I'll find that hole!😤
I haven't replaced nor fixed the filters yet, which is good, because they would of burnt up and needed replacement after this fiasco. That would of been 2k in pumps alone! 😭
It is definitely an odd feeling to be walking on a "floating" floor liner!!
