💗🐝Our Backyard Beekeeping Journey!🐝💗

Queen cells removed I took care of at least 13 and I think the new Queen had gotten rid of at least 6. I decided to look through both deeps, frame by frame. So glad I went in there today. Now she can use her energy to lay eggs.

This has been a great learning experience.

Saw her going after one, you can't really see it because of the girls crawling on it. I smashed it so she could save her energy. Hopefully she fattens up a little as she starts laying more.
She's supposed to be a Carniolan, she's quite light. My other Carniolan queen is almost black.

We added the new bottom board onto Hive #3: Cordovan. Hubs drilled a hole for my OA vaporizer.

This is the super we added onto Hive #1 last night. The comb was so rough. It's amazing how quickly they can polish them up.
