I checked my honey super yesterday. It has been on for 1 week and the bees are filling it up FAST! Nothing capped yet, but getting close. With all the rain we had this winter, I'm hoping for a good honey harvest this year.

Our flow is slowing, the bees are switching to clover and assorted wildflowers now.

    Yummy!

Our clover is over now. Blackberry and catalpa are in full bloom though. My bees are bringing in quite a bit of dark blue pollen - that one confuses me. Not sure what blooms around here with blue pollen.

Has anyone extracted yet? How did your honey harvest come out? I'm looking to extract in the beginning of August.
