Do you have any hand spinners for the wool? You used to make all sorts of things from the wool.

Next weekend, the first round of lambs will start to be weaned!
Then new ones weaned every few days. Most will be weaned in 2wks, since most were born within 16 days this year!
Trying things differently this year.
Moms will be pulled out onto pasture, while the lambs stay in the barnyard on hay & creep until sold. Keeper lambs will also be weaned with them.
This should eliminate all potential worm issues that can occur with our wet fields and super delicate lamb immune systems.
The rams will rotate in with the ewes until August, then move into their own paddock again to prepare for breeding in late October. I've seen ewes start to cycle in August, so that's why I'll separate then. Don't want December frozen dead lambs.
The cattle will be moving behind them to help break the worm cycle.
Hopefully, Zim doesn't beat up Tanzie, or anyone else, again...
Because of construction, paddocks are limited. I'll have to put up fencing quick n dirty, and later redo them to their permanent placement after construction is finished. Currently, there are 9-10, 11 is on the other side of the new driveway & will need a temporary fence to enclose.
