And now last but not least are my chickens I have 42 of them (no one else in my family likes them so they are just mine even though we sell eggs and everyone still gets money) in the first coop is 12 standard chickens only hens for just eggs: there are 3 Jubilee Orpingtons, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte, 2 Easter Eggers, 3 Rhode Island Reds and 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks that is it for the first coop now for the 7 week old standard chicks that are in the shop in a water tank used as a brooder: I have 5 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks and 3 Buff Orpingtons all of those are hens. now for the 2nd coop I have bantams in that one in that coop I have 1 Rhode Island Red hen, 1 D'Anver rooster, 2 Partridge Wyandotte hens, 1 Cochin hen and 5 Silkie hens. for my 3rd and final coop I also have bantams in there I have: 1 Partridge Wyandotte rooster and 2 Partridge Wyandotte hens, 1 Rhode Island Red rooster and 2 Rhode Island Red hens
now I have 3 Jubilee Orpington hens, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte hen, 2 Easter Egger hens, 3 Barred Plymouth Rock hens and 3 Rhode Island red hens. the chickens that were in the brooder are now about 4 months old and the ones I have left from the brooder are: 3 Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets and 2 Barred Plymouth Rock pullets I started out with 11 now I have 5 the others died 😢 i don't even know why the other chickens in the coop with them look just fine they had feed and water and none of the ones that died even looked sick. in my first bantam coop I have:
1 D'anver hen(I thought it was a rooster but I asked on BYC and everyone said hen) 2 Partridge Wyandotte hens, 1 Cochin hen and 5 silkie hens(the wyandotte pullets are in the coop with them) and in my last coop I have: 1 Partridge Wyandotte cockerel, 2 Partridge Wyandotte pullets, 1 Rhode Island Red cockerel, 1 Rhode Island Red pullet and
2 Leghorn pullets(I had the leghorns when I first started this thread I just forgot to add them to what I had) also in that last coop are my Barred Rock pullets. The only one that I don't have anymore is 1 RIR pullet she died too😢 and she looked just fine like not sick or anything.

I also have 2 pigs 1 of them is named Puddles he is a spot market barrow and my other pig is a Hampshire breeding gilt named Sparkles. I have a goat named Elvis he is a boer goat I will show him at county and state fair then sell him. I have 2 horses 1 of them is an almost 30 year old buckskin Quarter Horse gelding and the other is a 15 year old bay Grade mare named Phoebe which I will show. I also have a pony named Dora. We also have 4 dogs 1 of them is a Black Lab he is probably around 15 years old and his name is Blackie then there is Moose a 13 year old Beagle then Gizmo a three year old on June 13th he is a Great Pyrenees and finally Skippy he is going to be 3 on June 22nd he is also a Beagle.
I now have only 3 dogs because as I said Blackie died 😭 so know I am left with only Gizmo, Skippy and Moose.

We still have all the horses but Cowboy is about 28-30 and he is blind in one eye and he is really skinny we feed him twice a day a lot of grain and he can't even hold weight in the summer so I think this fall we will have to put him down😢

Still got my goat, Elvis and pigs, Sparkles and Puddles.

You've been very busy!

I hate losing my animals, too, whether young or old. I'm currently dog-less, but am planning on getting another once I retire.

Jubilee Orpingtons are beautiful! Got pictures?

The blue eye in my avatar belonged to my old gelding Joe. Quarter horse, cremello, blue eyes, not a dark hair on him, purest white. Safe for anyone to ride, but would give me a lively trot and gallop. My heart horse. He lived to 32 years old. I still miss him.

the Sweet 16 show was today!!!

when we first left the house it wasn't raining and once we got abut 10 minutes down the road it started pouring rain and there was lightning and even some hail it was like that for half of the way there. then it we got there and got her to the wash rack to have a bath and we put her in the trailer instead of a stall then I went to go check in and about an hour before the show it starts pouring rain then it stopped about 15 minutes later and I guess the only way to the show ring was through a huge mud puddle but we asked if we could go through another door and they said we could so she didn't have to walk through the mud........

in the ring there were 2 judges 1 is the showmanship judge and the other was judging the animal and you are only supposed to look at the animal judge and the showmanship judge would judge you on how you did. well there were 13 pigs in my class including Sparkles there were supposed to be 16(1 pig from each county) but 3 couldn't make it. when each kid comes in the ring they read a sheet that says stuff about you and you walk your pig around then once they are done reading you go behind the judge and wait for everyone else to enter the ring I was 2nd to last and when I was done and they were reading the sheet for the last kid they probably only got through half of it before all the kids got up and started walking their pigs around you are not supposed to do that until they are done reading so I stayed with Sparkles until they were done then got up and started walking her.

Sparkles got 9th place out of 13!!!! 😀 😀 😀
I got Grand Champion Junior Showmanship!!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
