today me and my little sister were riding Phoebe bareback and we were practicing mounting and dismounting but we couldn't mount from the ground so we had to stand on the salt block and get on her and she just stood there nicely while we were jumping up and sliding back down when we were almost up but couldn't get the rest of the way up trying to mount her and we rode her double for the first time that was so much fun I love riding Phoebe
I really like riding with a saddle and I can't do anything faster then a trot without the saddle but I think I like riding bareback better

I learned to ride bareback. Was too little to lift a saddle, so my friend and I would lead the horse to a trailer, stand on the wheel fender and climb on. It was an old barn sour mare, she would only go so far before turning around and running back to her shed. We usually fell off before she decapitated us by running under the shed. Then we had the bright idea of closing the gate! That was better, if we could hang on. But she ran up to the gate, stopped on her front feet and threw us into the gate. So we had to learn to hang on better. LOL

so when we were moving the cows up to the chute in one of the last pastures we were chasing them through Trump decided he didn't like being told where to go and turned and bellowed and acted like he was going to charge my brother since my brother was the one in front of him so my dad switched places with my brother and got Trump to keep moving.
In the fence Trump is in now there is a wooden feeder and I don't know for sure it was Trump but I am pretty sure it was...they have been in that fence for a day so that is 4 feedings and 3 of 4 times the feeder was tipped over.

today when I got home I found out the cows and Trump got into the yard and the gate keeping them where they were was chained shut with 2 chains one if them was a silver chain and a big clip on it to keep it closed and there was a small gold chain that was bolted into a wooden fence post and the clip on the silver chain was completely busted and they ripped the bolt out of the post and got into the yard. I have no way of knowing but I bet it was trump that broke it.
