Probably depends on what breed your 4 month old ram is. Most of mine, it is at 5 months, but there is a good possibility he maybe able to now so keep your eyes open!! :ep

Thanks!

I also have another question. I have 4 ewes that are only 2.5 months these ewes are going to be butchered in Novemember. I will be getting a flock of purebred polypays here this week includes 2- 3 year old ewes, 2- 1 1/2 year old ewes and a 4 month old Ram.

Will this Ram if put in with my butchering lambs breed them before November comes?!!? Of course I don't want that to happen! lol

Most ewe lambs start coming in at 5-6 months. I breed all mine at 6 months, so if they are with the ram by the time they are 6 months, I would suspect they will be bred.

We used a young guy like that once. He only managed one ewe. This year he bred the entire flock.
