Hello, we currently have 6 weathers, and now we were thinking about adding to the herd. But I'm not quite sure how to introduce the kids to the older ones, and not have any problems. We also have two mini horses that share the same barn and pastures,
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated
Thank you

If you can put up a temporary area for them next to other goats, they will safely get to know each other :thumbsup
Thank you, not sure how I will do thst.
I put the horses in their stall at night and the goats have the run of the barn, this picture sorta shows my barn set up

This is the center of the barn where the goats hang out when the horses are stalled

In the picture above, the center of the barn, right there at the back where the goats are laying down. It doesn't have to be big, it is temporary, to let them get acquainted.

Put a temporary pen in the pasture so they can hang out during the day. Be sure to provide shade. Then when you let them out, you might want to walk them one at a time on a leash, to let the horses and other goats come up to say hello.
