can I put ammonium chloride out for my bucklings, that does have acess too? I don't know if it would be bad for the does to have, I have one little buckling that looks like he is straining to go, so I thought I'd add some in a mineral feeder????

I mix our extra right into the loose minerals we keep out all the time. They all eat it, Bucks and Does alike.

I am new to owning our own bucks but have been sprinkling it onto their small ration of grain. I need to double check how much I should be using though (I don't use very much but I just read that they can actually get sick from too much AC).

Okay, edited because I posted at the same time as 20kids before seeing the link---Thanks for sharing it and saving me the time of searching for it!! :)

Same here. I found that if I sprinkle it on grain, it falls to the bottom of the dish and there it sits. It does have a nasty taste.

I just swish a scoop into their water. They wont eat it out of the grain, and I didnt want to do anything that would stop them from eating their minerals. They dont even know its in the water.
