Another Michigander

Hi, I am in the middle of the mitten (Gratiot County, Michigan, about 8 miles west of Alma).

I grew up in Charlevoix County (Boyne City) on a dairy farm, and my cousin still runs beef cattle up there.

We have 3 acres, and I am thinking about getting either a couple sheep (primitives, like Finns or Icelandic) or some goats. A pig might be in the future, too.

Currently, we have turkeys and chickens.

Welcome! We have Finns, Nigerian dwarf goats, and chickens (and some other critters thrown in for good measure!) I truly enjoy my Finns and the goats are the comic relief.
