[The Chick Addict]

This first one is of my sister's Rhode Island Red, Mary. She was the smallest standard sized chicken and was always so cute and funny! She always had this crazy look in her eye and she was the life of the coop. She passed away on New Year's Eve at 11:30 PM of an unknown illness, which I presume was a problem with her crop. The way I painted and drew her looks exactly how she was in real life! (The painting looks better in real life.

This second one is of my other sister's rare coloring Silver Laced Polish Crested, Scholy. When he was about 4 or 5 months old as a teenager, he accidentally got out and our dog, Hank, killed him. We miss him and Mary dearly and they are cherished and remembered very much! 💚
