Also I would neuter this goat anyway. A buck is half your herd because every kid on the place has half of his DNA, do you really want to skimp on quality? Buy from a breeder who knows their stock (production information, pedigrees, breeds crossed with, how to feed them, etc) and get a great buck and a couple of good does.
