Hi everyone!

I’m Beau and I live on a 125-year-old property. I’ve always had a special connection with animals—I just seem to understand them, and even the shyest ones are drawn to me. I love all animals, past and present, like our horse Jazzy and the goats we had over the years, but right now I’m focused on growing my backyard chicken flock.

My favorites are Cochin, Wyandotte, and Sussex, and I’m excited to share stories, learn tips, and connect with other animal lovers while BYC is down!

Hiii!!! Beau it's great that you feel a 'special connection' to animals. I think you need to check out water buffaloes. They are the most personable farm animals on par with dogs. Check them out.

yea I've sort of always been this way since I was young I went to a cat adoption center held the one cat that was very flighty and protective and didn't like anyone but when I held it. it began purring.
