I have 2, 4 week old wool lambs. They didn't get their tails docked. Will they be fine? Can I still band them? I read yoy can't do it after they are 1 week old. We are planing on keeping one for a Ram.

I've done it for puppies much later than a week. Cutting off the circulation is cutting off the circulation. If you leave a hair tie on your finger at any age eventually you will have 9 fingers and one nicely amputated/dock finger.

Edit I'm not a sheep person. FYI

You can still do it. Have they been vaccinated for CDT? CDT contains tetanus vaccine. If they have been vaccinated no problem banding them now. If not, I suggest vaccinating for CDT about a week or so before banding them to make sure tht thy are protectd from tetanus.
