Barn Door Latch?

You will have to scroll through several pages, but here’s how I made a tack room door latch. I googled barn for latch and watched YouTube video

@Stephine , did you ever come up with a way to hook the doors and make them secure for the animals???

To keep the doors against the barn and not be able to be pushed away from the barn (that sounds confusing! sorry) my barn has rollers mounted on the ground that keeps the doors from being pushed out. I’ll take a pic tomorrow and post it. I don’t do anything to keep them shut - they are very heavy so a hasp/ whatever isn’t needed. I could always chain the handles if needed.
