When my alarm went off at 5, I hit the snooze. Then the alarm in the living room went off. BAA BAA BAA! I fixed her bottle, she had 3 ounces. currently she is nestled down next to me in my recliner. Carson enthusiacticlly licks her, I think he is tasting her. He has hoovered up the poop in the dog crate, keeping the potty pads clean. My neighbors with 3 boys are coming over at 9, to see the lambs. She still hasn't figured out the bottle, but is getting better. When she figures it out, I'll let them feed her. It may take a few days.

Looks like I have a bottle baby.

Hope she continues to improve. What fun for the boys to help feed her!

I took the boys in the nursery pen (middle field) and they were pretty quiet. Then I took them to the newborns in the jugs(front field) I let them each hold a baby. I spread a bale of pine shavings to give the babies something to nestle down in. Then we came in the house, the little one was yelling her head off. I showed Charles how to fix her bottle and feed her. I have a Dr appointment this afternoon and need to get some things in town. All the boys got to hold her and play with her. Carson stayed in the middle of all that attention. She is sleeping now.

That is a nice crop of lambs. I’m glad your bottle baby is coming around. I have a piece of paper taped to the inside of a utility room cabinet “Auntie Bay’s Formula Recipe”. It’s always worked.

Kinda tough when the newborns have to be fed every 2 hours. I saw a dermatologist for a follow up yesterday, told her of a spot on my back, but set another appointment for that because I didn’t have time for her to look at it, I had to be back home by 4:00!
