Erick is down in Leander and said that those camps where the girls were at summer camp flood every year. He said that they should have evacuated those camps when the rains started. Even though the river rose so quickly the camp leaders should have evacuated when the chance of the storm was announced.

Erick said he got 10" of rain in 24 hours. So heavy on his metal roof that it woke him up. Luckily when he was searching for and buying his property he did a 100 year flood search to make sure he was high enough. He has a creek that runs through his property.

It is a terrible tragedy for the girls in that camp and their parents.

It continues. Scenes like this are playing out all over Texas as those who lost their lives are returned home.
