Did have plans to go to my sister’s house today to celebrate hanging around to age 70. But Mother Nature has intervened and is pitching a hissy fit. Flooding, white out heavy rains, tornado warnings, hail, winds maybe up to 110 MPH, so we have elected to join the Hunker Down Club, usually active in hurricanes but shows up for special occasions like Mother Nature is pissed off. The Hunker Down Club is affiliated with the Shelter In Place Club, also active for hurricanes, but shows up for Preparation For Hurricane Season Parties, such as this one.

On another note, turning 70 and attending an East Texas funeral complete with a wake the night before, in a church no less, must activate some previously unknown and uncontrollable human pheromones that attracted several handsome and much, much younger men who flirted shamelessly, softly touching my arm, deep gazes into my eyes and dimpled smiles.

Dayamn!! Somebody else needs to die around here! I don’t even have to know whoever it is!
