What a precious time for you and the girls. They are beautiful!Picked up my 2 youngest granddaughters Sunday. It was raining here at 8:00AM, raining when I got out of church, POURED down rain all the way to Conroe. On interstate 45, it was raining so hard that I got in the far right lane, creeping along at 45-50 MPH. Normally I go 80-85 in the far left lane. Rain stopped for our drive home. Here on the farm, got 1 3/4” of rain. Thirsty dry ground soaked it up.
Yesterday we went to the grocery store. The girls ran wild. They giggled, laughed, had so much fun. My daughter is a fan of online shopping and pick up. They practically never go inside. So it was quite the outing for the girls. $101, we got a can of pumpkin, frozen pie shells, ice cream, coke, 1 corn on the cob, 1 sweet potato, flour tortillas, milk, cereal, hamburger and whatever they wanted. Last night we had chicken breast, corn on the cob for me and Catherine, cubed and toasted sweet potato for me and Charlotte. We played outside. We made pumpkin pie, stuck a candle in it, face timed Charlotte’s parents and sang happy birthday, she is 9.

My sister bought 2 big blow up chairs for the girls, they sent one home, brought one here. Directions said to use a bicycle pump. DO NOT use an air compressor to avoid bursting the chair. Ummmm…… this Mamaw went and got her air compressor. Duh.

I’ve been telling Sheba for a week that Catherine is coming to see her. Sheba flops down for a tummy rub and Catherine happily obliges.

Meanwhile, Cooper the ram was mugging Charlotte for attention. He loves attention of any kind and is a big teddy bear. Charlotte loves Cooper and loves giving him scratches.
