I took my sister in law to the doctor last Thursday, Friday and yesterday, Monday. She’s been having trouble with her remaining leg. Yesterday she got test results and has blockage in the groin area. They will do a procedure in a couple of weeks to clear it out. I was worried that veins in her leg were blocked up like her other leg was before they took it off. Veins in her other leg were collapsed and there wasn’t anything they could do.

Today I can finally replace the tarp on the hoop shelter in the middle field. It’s ripped and won’t last much longer.

I will be paying for her! That's rough. 🙁

Take care of yourself and don't overdo.

Yesterday Chris came over to load up 2 of my son’s bush hogs that needed repair. He got on son’s 100 HP Kubota, chained up the big bush hog and loaded it on my son’s trailer. It has to go on sideways, it’s 16’ long and doesn’t fold up.

Once he set it on the trailer, he chained it down tight before he unchained it from the tractor so it wouldn’t shift.

The supervisor and safety inspector viewed the project and gave his approval.

All chained down.

Chris got the small bush hog, chained it down. There they go!

Yesterday. The tarp on the 3 cow panel shelter was ripped and worn out. The sides of the tarp where the grommets are, were buried about 8” deep. I had to dig them up on the inside and on the outside.

The he “front porch” tarp that keeps rain from blowing in and the setting sun heat out was also ripped

I had to take off the pallets I have on the sides that keep the sheep from going mountain climbing.

It took most of the day, but I got the new tarp on and the front porch tarp too!

I fixed the hole where I park my car. 2 FEL buckets of ag lime, spread with a garden rake. Then a bucket of dirt, spread with a shovel, topped off with another bucket of lime.

Then I watered it in.

I went in and ate lunch. I came back out to pack it down and found the ewe crew guarding the car and tractor.

I told them to go eat grass, they wandered off and I used the car to pack it down.
