Boer goat bucks conformation

Would love an opinion on my Boer goat bucks conformation. I am BRAND NEW to goats, coming from the horse world my entire life 😆. Link is 1 year old now. These are the best pictures I can get without help. My MIL said his back is a little short, and my husband DID say you want a longer back? He is a good tempered buck, easily handled.

He’s short backed, yes. His topline could be straighter as well but he is THICK and that makes up for some of those flaws. Looks to have lovely strong pasterns which Boers seem to struggle with in general. He sure is a pretty fella! Looks like my Shirly!
