BYCows was started one year ago today. BYCows was incorporated into BYH this past May when Nifty decided to add the other animals.

Ok, I love miniature cattle, but my fave is Ayeshire, but, alas, there's not miniatures of these yet......
, so, I do look up Highland, and Holstein, and I wish that I could afford them......but, my DF has set his foot down and said no to goats and cattle......

So, I dream ! Seriously!! I dream about miniature cattle!! Those times, I sleep best, he's found out. I love these sister sites!

Thank you!! I can only look right now. I knew years ago, what I wanted for a small herd, but he's citified. I have to take sweet and slow time with him. Years ago, I've introduced him to country music, and Nascar, even the thought of living in the country is slowly becoming reality.
Goats - I want 2 or 3 colorful meat does (Boer, Myotonic), and breed them to a Nigerian buck.
I would sell doelings, keep bucklings for family table.
Cattle - I want 2 or 3 Miniature Highland heifers, and breed them to a Miniature Holstein bull for some colorful calves - heifers for selling, bulls (steers) for family table.
DFiance' isn't waivering - absolutely no goats.
He is, however, asking me to write down a selection of miniature cattle (I've talked him into getting minis) that I want for our future farm.
I am making some progress!
