Very nice. My Mom's dog hates storms too. I'll show her that idea. I don't think it got as bad at my house as they were originally calling for. They freaked out and closed all the schools too.
It fizzled here, some strong winds, rain, thunder, NOT as bad as predicted. Apparently a disturbance off the coast interfered with the formation of the severe aspects. Works for me.

I really wanted one of these for Boone. Unfortunately their largest still didn’t fit his massive head 🫤
Ya' know - they may have something bigger - but just not an inventory to put it on the web. I'd call or email them - tell them how Boone is your service dog - ya' never know - it's worth a try.

We did a Petco walk this morning, then walked the length of the shopping center and back. That took about 25 minutes roundtrip.

After we got home he ripped up a box and took a nap.

No socializing yesterday, the breeze was too icy in the morning, I put off a walk until later. Then I got involved with taxes...

Caleb was very good, relaxing, with a few yard walks. By mid afternoon he was overreacting to everything. I took him for a long street walk down to the new housing development and back. He calmed down some. Then he saw a new kitty in our yard and totally lost his mind.

I did work with him holding his sit on the top step. New kitty was a couple feet away from the bottom step. I encircled Caleb with my arms, told him how he was being good. He was shaking, trembling, but HELD.
:yesss:

Then we worked on clicker training, getting a tiny treat whenever I clicked it.

But alas, Caleb wound up in Time Out. I was getting him a chicken foot, calmly, and he freaked, started zooming all over. Too exciting.

After he took a nap I let Caleb out of his crate, and he came over for loving, soaked it up. He paced for a while, then finally settled, went to sleep. When he woke up I put him in his crate and went to bed.
