I get it! Been there done that. Makes me so angry I could tear things apart.
First -- calm down (not easy) so Caleb can see you relax try to go back to something normal for you and Caleb.
Second - contact your foster person and see if Caleb can go for a play visit.

I took Caleb for a walk down the street this evening; he definitely was acting up. Then he tried to chase Wisp, the kitty who usually stands up to him.

I've given Caleb extra love, and offered chew toys when he came up and started chewing on me, which he's not done in a while. I sang some Christmas carols to his face, and now he's lying quietly.

People suck.

So sorry this happened. Our last two heelers (sisters) were ruined because of a bad dog owner and dog that attacked. They never got over it. I'm so glad you can take him for a play date. He is absolutely adorable. I just love this thread so much! We are dog-less for the first time in my life and it's killing me. Once we are settled in a bit in our new home we will get pups. I can't wait. Until then I'm getting my fix via your adventures.;) Thanks so much for sharing!

Do you know where those dogs belong? You might start carrying a water piston with ammonia in it and aim for their face if they get too close.
First time I've seen them. I have wasp spray, the kind that "jet" sprays. I have thought about taking it with me.

This morning we did a front yard walk, then a back yard walk. All bushes were watered well.

Caleb is definitely less anxious this morning, good thing. There was a minor confrontation as Debbie was NOT in the bedroom as I thought, but IN the living room where Caleb is corraled when she's loose...he discovered her behind my recliner, woofed and yapped, and I heard her throaty growl. Caleb was then gently crated, and Debbie left at a somewhat leisurely pace for the bedroom. I'll take it as a positive.

Caleb's aware of the cat as she saunters past the fencing, but he is just lying there. He's a Good Boy, she's a little minx!

Cats love to push buttons...beasts.
