So...Caleb's foster has had the coughing crud that's going around. I offered to bring her some bone broth, and she accepted.

I took Caleb for the ride, even though he was anxious during our 10 minute ride around the block yesterday.

He sat and shook for the 30 minutes to go there. I took him out of the car to relieve himself, and he got excited, I believe he KNEW where he was.

We brought the Care package to the door.

And we were invited in!

Caleb and his dog buddies romped around the house for about ten minutes. He did try to mount his friends and was soundly rebuffed, but it didn't seem to alter his happy mood. He loved on his foster mom, too. And she gave him a buffalo horn that she'd purchased just for him!

Caleb laid down for the ride home, calm as could be.

And once home he settled down with his gift, gnawing with obvious delight.

Except look at Caleb's ears, they're not raised in excited state, but laid back in calm (kinda!) state.

Won't be long before they both decide there's no challenge to be had. By spring they'll be curled up together.

I sincerely hope so. A truce would be enough, but a friendship would be better!
