Never heard of it, looked it up. Wow, I never knew!

@canesisters you are in trouble! Caffeine can trigger it, plus sugary drinks, sugar in general. You are up at night, don’t sleep well during the day and keep yourself alive on coffee. You have turned into a zombie fortified by caffeine. BRING ON DAY SHIFT!!

Deficiencies in vitamin D, B12 and iron can bring it on too.

Eply maneuver, very interesting.
Caffeine is certainly a #1 contender for the cause. Too much coffee... coffee instead of water.... 🙄

It was much better by this afternoon & I started house cleaning & cooking in earnest.
Then the vacuum started smelling like burnt rubber. I had a 'tune-up' kit so I took it apart & replaced the belt & 2 filters. 15mins later it started spitting little bits of black something out the back. Turns out the belt was too tight, making too much tension on the roller... melting one side of the roller brush. OMG! Seriously??? As I was sitting there with it taken apart again.... the power went out.
Brief temper fit..
Reminding myself that this will make a great story tomorrow..
Called the power company. Their recording promised power back within a couple hours. Nice long drive to Walmart to get a new vacuum, the ice cream that I had forgotten (to top the apple pie), & a bag of chips to go with the salsa I'm making to thank the security guard at work for the bag of tomatillos.

It's been a weird day.

Family here after church for lunch. Just a simple BBQ dinner.
They left around 4.
This evening's project - trying to get the Starlink set up.
🤞

While that's doing its thing, gathering downed sticks & branches to start a decorative dead hedge in the Piney Woods garden.

Sometimes the crystals in our ears need to be resettled. Look it up. It works for me, if after a couple of days of dizziness I do the procedures.
Several years ago I had terrible vertigo. Couldn't walk down th hll or anywhere without hlding onto something. Even laying down the entire room would just spin around. Went to the doctor sure that I had a brain tumor.

Doctor had me lay down on my back and then he rotated my head (similar to getting your neck adjusted) and told me it was something to do with wax or crystals in the inner ear. Vertigo gone! I got it again last year and didn't bother going to the doctor, instead I lay down on the bed with my head off the mattress and rotated my head around. It worked.

That's the eply (sp?) maneuver.
Works.... if you can do it without throwing up

Trainee's last night before final test.
I'm completely hands off (unless something major happens that threatens quality and/or will keep the machine down for an extended period).
She's doing great.... I'm so bored 😴

Fingers crossed that if she gets certified in the AM, I might be on days by June.

Well, she didn't pass. ☹️ The engineer doing the testing now is VERY tough & VERY detailed. He's more focused on the charts & formulas behind the data collection than skills to actually DO the job. He didn't ask her to show him a single skill but spent almost 30mins quizzing her on how to calculate this stat and that variance.
She's frustrated & talking about finding something else. I promised that by this coming Thurs AM she'll know that stuff so well that she'll be able answer his questions before he finishes asking.... but, she didn't seem interested in practicing those equations. Did them once & didn't try again. 🙄 Maybe she's got it now & doesn't need to? Maybe she's just not interested anymore? I can't MAKE her learn or practice. 🤷‍♀️

I was outside just after sun up this AM cleaning up the area around the barn & garden. The grass is SOO TALL!!!! Spent almost 2hrs fishing around in the dripping wet weeds for hoses, cords from the winter time water heaters, stakes for the garden beds, etc. Got everything (that I could find) cleared up & ready to finally take that new-to-me mower out on it's maden voyage.... and it's battery is dead. 🤔 I've used it several times over the winter to pull the trailer - moving manure/compost, mulch, etc.
Soooo... hooked up the charger & am back in the house drying off & getting another cup of coffee.
