I got these two, but in my experience, one’s pretty much the same as another. I do prefer the gel to liquid and I like the ease of the roll on

I had no idea that DMSO took care of so many things. I just remember using on my horse back in the early 80s. Definitely have to read up more on it.
I do essential oils as well - another thing that the “official “ peeps discount.
There are many links to studies on that site, lots to read!

I have an unopened roll on, have been using the gel. This afternoon I managed to get into two of my cars, started he engines and put defrost on full blast while I worked on the outside. I did a bit of ice chipping, made my arthritic thumb hurt, ow. Rubbed DMSO into the joint area, and my feet. No pain in thumb, though fingers are a little stiff. No more cramping in my feet at night, either.

I'm sold.

I noticed when I closed up the coop this evening that a few of my older girls aren't doing so good. Not up on the main roost with the rest. Feel skinny when I picked them up to put them up there.
I'll add supplemental protein & fats to the diet & worm them all over the next few days.
I was considering replacing the whole aging flock.... this cold weather might make some of the decisions for me. ☹️

Old laying hens make yummy chicken soup and the broth is so much better than broth made from Cornish cross.
When we lived in town years ago, I added 6 chicks each spring. By fall they were laying and I had eggs for the winter. Hens going into their second molt at 3 years old were butchered. After their second molt, they still ate as much but production dropped a lot.

Each spring I got chicks of a different color so I didn’t get them mixed up.

I was at the feed store this AM getting chicken stuff & decided to pop over to the horse meds isle. They had a little bottle of DMSO gel.
After I got home I put some on my knee & foot - after a shift in the creel, both were killing me.
I didn't notice much difference. ☹️
I coated them both again this evening before heading in. Still, not a huge difference.
Maybe it's a cumulative effect???
