I vote ghosts, spirits 🥰😵‍💫

Actually, the insomnia, lack of sleep -- yeah, that's a bad thing. Plus how tired you get! If you're going to sleep with "noise" that might be another cause. 🤷

Before I go to bed I ALWAYS check that doors are locked!!!

I have been awakened from a vivid dream before, certain of happenings that weren't.

Y’all are haunted.
I had a ghost in Lindale. She hung out at the horse barn. She smelled like a field of Sweet William wild flowers, only there were none around. I’d smell flowers in the dead of winter, go looking for flowers and found none. I called her Spirit Lady and I talked to her. She also would go to the pig pen, but never when it was empty.

I agree - ghosts.

We bought our first house from my grandmother. It was an old house since they bought it new in 1920. Our family - great grands, grands, mom, uncles, aunt, sister, and me as babies, had all lived in it from the time it was built. My great grandfather died in one of the upstairs bedrooms. I could hear him walking around up there several times a week. Doors opened and closed during the day, etc. I didn't worry since they were family ghosts who loved me.

Could be ghosts of people who ived there before you.

We were the first owners. Brand new double wide on previously un-built land. And I don't believe in ghosts. 😉

I joined a Facebook group about these hallucinations to get more info. Some are just as you fall asleep & some are just as you wake up. I'm thankful that I don't have the vision ones (except that 1 time) ! Some of the stuff they describe are creepy.

My oldest went on mild adhd meds at night time for a while because he would have stuff like that before and during sleeping because he's such a light sleeper. He gets them when he doesn't get enough sleep and traumatize him and make him afraid to sleep (as perversely as that sounds) and then he wouldn't let any of us sleep. The meds slowed him down mentally and made it easier for him to focus for about 6 hours so his naughty brain couldn't take over and let him sleep. Eventually when he got his schedule back he didn't need it and as long as he keeps a regular schedule and does not get sleep deprived they tend to stay away. Definitely keep your dogs close.

Unfortunately I'm dog-less again.
I keep telling myself that I don't have a dog owner lifestyle anymore. 12hr shifts - all night at the moment.
I've always been partial to big dogs. Boxers & pitties especially.
But I have to admit that I keep getting an 'itch' to get another dog.... maybe something small this time 🤔

Do it!

I love big dogs (60-90#) but I can't pick them up anymore. So I'm planning on getting a dog as soon as I retire, something like this (Lancashire Heeler). Or a Corgi.

Small enough to pick up.

My Facebook feed has been JAMMED with posts of what people are bringing to the swap & where their booths can be found... since Wed. 🤯 They are camping out for days to be sure to get good spaces. 😳 This thing gets bigger every year. It's almost too much to see in one day as it is.
I'm taking my sister just so she can see the spectacle of it. 😂 .... and so she can guard my wallet because I'm petty she @farmerjan , @Mini Horses , and @fuzzi would happily encourage me to spend next month's mortgage on animals, plants & crafts! 🤣
